Lowryder was the strain that started the whole auto-flowering trend that slowly but surely became a booming industry in itself now accounting for between 60 - 70% of all European cannabis seed sales. Working with a so-called Mexican-Ruderalis strain the Joint Doctor crossed it with Northern Lights #2 and thereafter via careful selections he isolated those plants with auto-flowering qualities and cross-bred them until these traits were locked in and stabilised. The original Lowryder strain was later joined by the improved Lowryder #2 which was followed by further autos such as Ogre, Chronic Ryder, Diesel Ryder etcetera.
