Variety of cannabis generally fall into one of three categories;

Indica

Cannabis Indica hails from the Hindu Kush Mountains in the Middle East. Generally they are short and dense Plants. Associated with very relaxing and sedating effect. Often recommended for night time use. Indica tends to heighten physical senses.

Sativa

Cannabis Sativa originates from equatorial countries in Central America and South East Asia. Generally they grow long, thin foliage and long, cylindrical buds compared to stocky, dense Indica varieties. Sativa varieties typically produce high levels of Cannabidiol (CBD) rather than the psychoactive and intoxicating Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The therapeutic effects of Sativa have been used for thousands of years.

Indica Sativa Hybrid

Indica and Sativa Hybrid cannabis varieties provide users with benefits from both Indica and Sativa. One of the first known Sativa/Indica hybrid’s was known as ‘Skunk’. Hybrid strains can either be Indica dominant, Sativa dominant or an near equal split. depending on whether you are inclined towards the cerebral high of Sativa or the body relaxation properties of Indica. Hybrids can be especially helpful when tailored to a user’s specific need.
